WHY innovative MEDICAL devices? Our company decided to use innovative medical devices due to at least two reasons: 1. they help people live better, and that is why they always have very high demand; 2. it is easy to start working with them even with little initial capital.

The BEST types of medical devices are OVER-THE-COUNTER medical products because such products can freely circulate without medical prescription. And among over-the-counter medical products, the best are NON-pharmacological products because they are extra safe, have little contraindications, and generally have more trust among consumers.

HOW start? Once you found innovative medical devices, which are new to your region, or – better – to your country, you need to introduce them to your home market. First of all, you need to define your target audience. You also need to make sure that the products are truly good, i.e. that they indeed solve health problems well. If that is true, people will search for you themselves, and the most effective and inexpensive advertisement by ‘the WORD OF MOUTH’ will work for you better and better.

Although the word of mouth will perfectly work for you in this case, you have to accept that REGULAR ADVERTISEMENT is also inevitable. First of all, there is no other reliable way just to let people know that your products exist. Secondly, NON-pharmacological products, which we are considering, have excellent effect, but rarely they have immediate effect; it may take several weeks before changes, and you need to remind people about that because sometimes people are lazy. Everyone knows that eyesight exercises are worthy, but do you know many people who practice them?

If you already have enough resources, it is generally good to start advertising in regional press. Of course, advertising itself is a whole long story, and you need to do it correctly. If however, you lack resources, you may use free ways such as: free informative articles about products in local and regional press. ONCE YOU DEFINED YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE, you shall have known which newspapers and magazines your consumers read. Surely, you need to get published in these media.

Also, because you market NON-pharmacological products, you may work with representatives of alternative medicine (involving herbal treatment, yoga and related exercises, etc.) and get published in their sources too. Thus, you may use three types of media: special media, widely popular media, sources and media of alternative medicine. You may also use other free adverts sources and surely Internet.

Keep in mind that you constantly need to extend your target audience; that is why the more you invest in letting people know about your NON-pharmacological devices, the more you sell, having better profits and healthier people. That is why when you reach higher sales volumes, you need to be unsatisfied and keep going further. DO NOT STOP GROWING! You need to use more expensive advertisement in more convenient newspapers and magazines. If you are a doctor yourself, or you have good medical specialists on board, it is also reasonable to participate in medical conferences educating other doctors about your devices and their effect.

It is also a good idea to get in touch with different societies (such as asthma society, hypertension society, etc.), which match with your target consumers. Such societies usually have a large network through all the country, and your helpful devices will have an additional distribution channel.

You also need to understand that growing larger and larger means that your general structure will change and increase. You will have to hire more employees and advance managerial skills. Be ready for that. Everything you do will become larger. Thus, you will come to the point when you will afford advertising on state TV and Radio.

Operating in non-competitive environment with innovative NON-pharmacological medical products is one of the most convenient ways to grow high profit business. The PROBLEM however still is that there are NOT so MANY innovative NON-pharmacological medical products on the market, and it is hard to find them, or it is hard to be the first who brings them to your local market.
